Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso said his side should have beaten Accra Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League (GPL), game on Sunday.
The two sides, drew 1-1 at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani in their Matchday 25 fixture as the spoils were shared in the mining township.
“We should have won this game because we created a lot of chances”, Coach Manso said after the game.
He added: “It was unfortunate we couldn’t put the chances we created away after dominating the game for most periods.”
Gold Stars, opened the scoring from the spot through Gideon Anaba late in the second half before Stephen Appiah Asare got a last minute equalizer for the Phobians.
The points, were shared, leaving the Miners second on the table with 41 points, one point behind leaders Asante Kotoko who beat Basake Holy Stars 1-0 in Kumasi.
Hearts of Oak, ended their two-game losing streak with the draw, and, they sit fourth on the table with 37 points.
Coach Frimpong Manso, will lead his Gold Stars side to play Heart of Lions at home in their next game as head coach when the league resumes in April.
Accra Hearts of Oak, will host Nations FC at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon, Accra in their next league game.
