A special Independence Day table tennis tourney will be held in Kumasi this weekend.
The competition will be a two day affair starting on Friday and ending on Saturday.
This special event is being put together by the Ghana Table Tennis Association in collaboration with Kumasi-based radio station, Opemsoo FM.
The two-day tourney will come off at the Ahinsan Youth Centre with competition expected to be intense.
The competition has been division into Under 12, 19 and seniors category.
A registration fee of GH¢50 will be charged each player with the event expected to be played between 8:00am and 4:00pm each day.
