I didn’t bite Jonathan Tetteh – Freezy Macbones clears air

Light-heavyweight boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, has cleared the air on his bout against Jonathan Tetteh at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium over the weekend.

Freezy Macbones was deducted points after apparently biting his opponent, popularly known as Worldwide.

As a result, he lost the WBA Africa Light-heavyweight belt by a unanimous decision with the judges scoring the fight 80-73, 78-74, and 77-75.

Speaking on Maakye Sports on Onua TV on Tuesday, December 23, the UK-based boxer said he didn’t bite Worldwide.

“I didn’t bite him,” he stressed, explaining that his opponent acted to win the sympathies of the judges.

He said the ring referee, Roger Barnor, spoke with Jonathan Tetteh in Ga before he went down, acting victim to a supposed bite.

“Everybody knows who won the fight. If because of some small ‘things’ you gave it to him, I have no problem with that.”

Freezy Macbones is not writing off a rematch, insisting anywhere it happens he will be up for it.
