The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League (GPL), campaign, is set to end this weekend with the last round of matches to be played on Sunday.
Eight matches would be played across the country to climax what have been a very challenging campaign for all the clubs involved as well as all other stakeholders.
The action spots on Sunday, will be at Bibiani, Tema and Kumasi where the title would be decided after the games have come to ab end.
Leaders Gold Stars will clinch the title if they manage to beat Accra Lions at the Dun’s Park Bibiani no matter what the results at Tema and Kumasi would produce.
However, a slip up by the Miners, could see both Nations FC and Asante Kotoko win the title if they win their games.
Second placed Nations FC, will host Heart of Lions at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese-Kumasi where they will aim for the three points.
Asante Kotoko who are third on the table, visits Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Tema New Town, hoping to get the win and hope other results favours them to be able to win the ultimate.
Other matches on Sunday, will see Accra Hearts of Oak hosting dethroned champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Dreams FC will host relegated Legon Cities at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa where they will hope to close their season on a good note.
Bechem United will welcome Young Apostles FC to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem with both sides set to play in the GPL next season.
Aduana FC will host Basake Holy Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro with the two sides also confirmed for the league next season.
Berekum Chelsea will trek to the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa to confront the might of local side Medeama SC to draw their campaign to a close.
