Former Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimović has backed Michael Carrick to Win the English Premier League with Manchester United next season.
The former United player, is tipping his former club to go all out and win the competition which kicks off later this month.
He said in a recent interview that Manchester United will win the title at the end of the campaign.
Here's what he told the reporter:
Reporter: "Zlatan, who do you think will win the Premier League next season?"
Zlatan: "Manchester United. I don't say that because I played there. I say it because I believe Michael Carrick has what it takes to bring the title back to Old Trafford."
"Carrick understands football. He doesn't need to shout to lead. His ideas are clear, the players trust him, and that's how champions are built."
"People will laugh today, but they'll remember these words in May. If United stay fit and follow Carrick, they'll win the Premier League."
"Mark my words, Manchester United will be champions with Michael Carrick in charge."
