Ghana's number one boxing venue is set to stage a long awaited promotion after being idle for a while.
Matchmaker Daniel Donkor, is coming up with a package on dubbed the 'Osagyefo Fight Night' on September 19, 2026 to incite boxing fans across Ghana.
Through his Obra Promotions, boxing is coming back to the Bukom Boxing Arena and the packed bill has young talented boxers like Michael Decardi Nelson, Klutei Robertson, Gideon Nortey, Joe Antwi, Awumey Nelson among others on the bill.
Mr Donkor told Omashie TV on 'The Big Fight Night' that the package will be one of the best promotions in Ghana in recent times.
Some of Ghana's leading boxers are scheduled to be in action on a night expected to be thrilling.
Mr Donkor, has worked with many astute boxers in the past like Abdula Mohammed, Eric Quarm, Elvis Ahorgah, Jessie Lartey and Jerry Lartey, and do know how to put on a show.
He expressed that Ghana Boxing does not lack talent but the boxers lack exposure and, this is what he is looking to showcase.
He believes with the right structures and promotions, it would not be long for Ghana to get a another world champion.
The upcoming contest, presents boxers on the bill another opportunity to take their talents to new heights, and Mr Donkor hopes they will make the most of this chance.
