Relegated Nations FC endured some tough obstacles in making it to the final of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup competition.
The Kumasi-based club, are seeking their first major silverware in Ghana football as they contest the grand finale on Sunday.
Nations FC will face Dreams FC in the final with this game set to be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon in Accra.
On their way to booking their ticket to this stage, Nations FC beat city rivals and Division One League (DOL) side Ebony FC 1-0 in a Round of 64 contest.
That win, took them to the Round of 32 where they met and beat another DOL outfit FC Ashantigold 04 3-0.
In the Round of 16, Nations FC advanced from here to the quarter finals after beating Swedru All Blacks 2-1.
In a difficult tie, they went the distance before edging out fellow top-flight side Berekum Chelsea via the dreaded penalty shootout in winning 4-3 after the 90 minutes contest ended goalless.
That set them up for a last four tie against another Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Aduana FC who they defeated 1-0 to advance to the final.
Despite their relegation from the GPL at the end of the campaign, Nations FC will look to put that setback aside as they chase this silverware.
The game kicks off at 6:00pm local time in the Ghanaian capital on Sunday.
