Accra Hearts of Oak coach Nebojsa Kapor has named a 20-man squad for the Democracy Cup game on Friday.
The Phobians will play arch rivals Asante Kotoko for the 2026 edition of this annual contest at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Coach Kapor has included only three new players in the squad as he looks to win this off-season cup game against their bitter rivals.
Alex Banso, John Antwi and Abdul Kader are the new players called up for this super clash between Ghana's two biggest football clubs.
The team departed Accra to Kumasi on Thursday ahead of this encounter scheduled to kick-off at 3:30 PM in the Garden City.
The annual Democracy Cup game is organized by the Parliament of Ghana in association with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to celebrate Parliamentary democracy in the country.
