Prince Yaw Owusu said, his Asante Kotoko side will deliver exciting and entertaining football on Sunday when they take on Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupines will host their arch rivals at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi in a Matchday 22 fixture in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), with kick-off time set for 5:00 PM local time in the Garden City.
And, Coach Owusu said his charges will be ready for the big clash when their bitter rivals come to Kumasi.
“We promise the Asante Kotoko supporters an exciting and entertaining game of football this Sunday when we take on Hearts of Oak,” Coach Owusu told Asante Kotoko media.
The experienced gaffer, was named interim coach after the resignation of Abdul Karim Zito on Monday following a string of poor results.
Prince Owusu as interim coach, will lead Asante Kotoko into this weekend's game as he took charge of training for the first time on Tuesday.
Asante Kotoko's chance of winning silverware this season, is in the GPL following their elimination from the MTN FA Cup competition.
They are the defending champions, but were bundled out of the campaign last Sunday by Aduana FC in front of their own fans in Kumasi.
The Porcupines are fifth on the GPL table with 35 points after 21 matches, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC and one adrift of Sunday's opponents Accra Hearts of Oak.
Coach Owusu will look to turn things around quickly, aiming to revive Kotoko hopes of winning the diadem this season.
