Reigning champions Medeama SC begins the defence of the crown on Saturday away to Vision FC at Tema.
The game will be played at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, starting at 3:00 PM local time in the harbour city.
This will be Medeama SC's first league game of the season after they sat out the first two games of the campaign due to their participation in the African inter-club competition.
That journey, ended at the preliminary round stage where they were knocked out by five-time winners of the competition TP Mazembe of DR Congo.

At Tema, they will face a Vision FC side that won the opening game of the season at home to Young Apostles.
Vision FC will look to make things very difficult for Medeama SC in this fixture as they seek to bounce back from defeat in their last game away to FC AshantiGold 04.
Also on Saturday, Heart of Lions will welcome Swedru All Blacks to the Volta region as they chase a first league win of the season.
Lions, have drawn one and lost the other in their opening two games, and, they will fancy their chances of getting the result in this fixture.
The game will be played at the Kpando Sports Stadium starting at 3:00 PM local time.
All Blacks have three points from two matches, and, they will be eager to get at least a point from this away trip to Kpando.
The odds, are in favour of Lions to collect the three points as they chase their first win of the campaign.
This fixture should be a good one for fans in Kpando and it's environs to savour as competitive football continues in Ghana this weekend.
In Sunday's matches, Asante Kotoko will be away to FC Samartex 1996 at Samreboi with Port City FC hosting Berekum Chelsea at Kukurantumi.
Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome Bechem United to the capital with this fixture set to be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.
Aduana FC will host Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro as Young Apostles visits the Presby Park to play Debibi United.
Dreams FC will play at home to Bibiani GoldStars at Kasoa whilst FC AshantiGold 04 travels to Azulewanu to play Basake Holy Stars.
