One-time Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions FC Samartex 1996, have leapfrogged Accra Hearts of Oak to top the standing after four matches in this season's championship.
The Timber Giants who are unbeaten, have eight points on the table as they seek to win a second GPL title after drawing at Swedru on Sunday against All Blacks.
Five clubs, Accra Hearts of Oak, Port City FC, FC AshantiGold 04, Aduana FC and Bechem United all have seven points, one point behind the league leaders.
They follow in that order on the table ahead of the Matchday Five fixtures coming up this weekend.
Port City FC have a game in hand against Medeama SC at Tarkwa in midweek where they will look to maintain their unbeaten start to their debut campaign.
Basake Holy Stars and Karela United, both have six points to show on the ladder, trailing the aforementioned clubs by a point.
Reigning champions Medeama SC who are also unbeaten, have five points with a game in hand to come against Port City FC on Wednesday.
Also on five points are four other clubs, Vision FC, Heart of Lions, Swedru All Blacks and Asante Kotoko who follow in that order on the table.
Newly promoted Debibi United and Berekum Chelsea have four points from four matches going into the next round of matches this weekend.
In the bottom three on the table are Bibiani GoldStars who have three points, Young Apostles with the same number of points and Dreams FC on one point.
Dreams FC remains the only side in the 18-club contest yet to win a record a win after three defeats and a draw.
They will look for their first win of the campaign when they host Accra Hearts of Oak in their next game on Sunday.
