Accra Hearts of Oak will host an invitational four-club tournament ahead of the start of the new football season in Ghana.
The Phobians are organizing this pre-season tourney, aimed as a final dress rehearsal before the new season kicks off next month.
This contest will be played at the Hearts Africa Academy Complex, the training grounds of the former African champions.
Invited to participate in this mini-tournament are fellow Ghanaian top-flight sides, Vision FC, Swedru All Blacks and newly promoted Port City FC who will join Hearts of Oak for this contest.
This will be a three day competition scheduled to start on Friday, August 21 and end on Sunday August 23.
The format of the competition will be an-all-play-all affair with each team expected to play three matches.
At the end of the campaign, the team with the most points accumulated, would be crowned winners of this maiden event dubbed 'Accra City Invitational Tournament'.
All four clubs will look to make the most of this opportunity to test their readiness for the start of the 2026/27 Ghana football season.
