They will play Basake Holy Stars in an away encounter on Sunday, and they can clinch the title with a home win over Heart of Lions in their next game.
Medeama SC will play their last fixture of the season away to Accra Hearts of Oak in the capital in a game they will hope it means meaningless after they have won the title with a win in their previous game.
Champions Gold Stars, will hope fortune turns to their side in the race for the title.
The Miners will play Dreams FC in an away encounter next week as their fixture against Hohoe United this weekend in cancelled.
Gold Stars will host Eleven Wonders who are relegated in their last game of the season.
They will hope the last three results favours them as they look for a second GPL title.
In the games played on Wednesday, Medeama SC lost 2-1 away to Berekum Chelsea; Gold Stars beat FC Samartex 2-0 at Samreboi with Accra Hearts of Oak drawing goalless with Karela United in Accra.
Swedru All Blacks beat relegated Eleven Wonders 5-2 at home; Young Apostles beat Vision FC 3-1 at home with Dreams FC winning 2-1 away at Bechem United.
Basake Holy Stars beat Aduana FC 2-0 at home with Nations FC winning 1-0 away to Heart of Lions at Kpando.
