Originally from Techiman, Dr Owusu-Mensah travelled to the United States after being selected for the FIFA volunteer programme.ย
He served in Kansas City during the 2026 World Cup and was recognised as the cityโs Unsung Hero for his dedication, humility and service to football supporters.
Beyond medicine and football, he describes himself as a purpose-driven leader committed to making the world a better place.ย
He is also a Manchester United supporter with considerable experience in student leadership.
