The Guinean Football Federation has reportedly written to CAF over safety concerns for the national team ahead of its 2027 AFCON qualifier against South Africa.
According to Afrik-Foot, the concerns are linked to recent anti-illegal immigration protests and calls for the deportation of undocumented foreign nationals in parts of South Africa.
CAF has reportedly received the letter and is expected to assess the situation before making any decision.
The qualifiers begin in September, with Guinea placed in Group D alongside co-hosts Kenya, South Africa, and Eritrea.
No official ruling has been announced, and the fixture remains scheduled as planned.
