Ghana Premier League (GPL), side Medeama SC maintained top spot in the ongoing campaign with a home draw against Aduana FC this past weekend.
The Mauve and Yellow failed to take full advantage of the home conditions as they were held to a 1-1 draw by a spirited Aduana FC side at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
Medeama SC, leads the standing with 44 points after 22 matches as they chase a second GPL title.
Aduana FC are fourth on the ladder with 37 points, seven points ahead the leaders.
On Sunday, Accra Hearts of Oak proved their mettle in beating rivals Asante Kotoko 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi to avenge the first round loss they suffered at the hands of the Porcupines during the first round of this campaign.
Hearts are second on the table, five points behind the leaders as the competition heats up.

Reinging champions Bibiani Gold Stars scored an important 3-0 home win over Basake Holy Stars at the Dun's Park, Bibiani to take their points tally to 37 points and third on the ladder.

Karela United won 1-0 away to Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa to move up to seventh on the table with 31 points, leaving Dreams FC in 13th position with 26 points.
Heart of Lions lost 2-1 away to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, Berekum to stay eighth on the ladder with 30 points.
The win, helped Berekum Chelsea to jump just above the relegation zone with 26 points.
It was an important 1-0 home win for Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem as they downed Young Apostles 1-0.
The Hunters have 29 points and in ninth position with Young Apostles two places above the relegation zone with 26 points.
