The Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) has unveiled a new logo in Accra as they seek to take the discipline to new heights.
All executive members of the GBF were in attendance at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday as the logo was unveiled.
Also in attendance were the finalists of the 2026 National Individual Amateur Boxing Championship whose grand finale comes off at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Friday.
At the logo unveiling, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Director General of the National Sports Authority called for more support for amateur boxing and grassroots sports development.
He commended the finalists and urged them to work hard for the ultimate.
Nana Amponsh Adu-Gyamfi, Kyidomhene of Assin Achiase who chaired the function, hailed the new executives of the GBF for the vision in creating a new identity to showcase their service to Ghana Boxing.
Dauda Fuseni, President GBF said the event marks a significant milestone in the history of Ghana boxing.
He stated that a logo is more than just a symbol. It represents identity, vision, values, and direction. It tells a story — the story of who we are, where we have come from, and where we are going.
