Augustina Baidoo wins 2026 GTTA Sheroes Open in Accra

Sensational Augustina Baidoo craftly defended the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), Sheroes Open title she win last year in Accra in Saturday.

In a keenly contested ladies final, she rallied from 0-3 down to edge Eva Adom-Amankwa 4-3 at the DG Hathramani Hall if the Accra Sports Stadium. 

Baidoo, thus retains the title she won last year, confirming her status as the top dog in the ladies category in Ghana at the moment.

This year's tourney, saw 31 players competing, and, play was evenly balanced.

At the end of the competition, Baidoo took home the top prize followed by Adom-Amankwa, Joanita Borteye who finished joint third with Cynthia Kwabi.
