Leaders Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko both dropped points on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), with only Bibiani Gold Stars taking full advantage.

Elsewhere, there were wins for the aforementioned Gold Stars, Dreams FC, Basake Holy Stars and Hohoe United with only eight goals being scored in the eight matches played.

Medeama SC were held to a scoreless draw game away to All Blacks at Swedru as the spoils were shared.

The Mauve and Yellow now lead the table by a point after drawing their last two games.

They have 46 points from 24 matches, one point ahead of reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars who beat Accra Hearts of Oak 2-1 in the league at home for the first time.

The Phobians remain third on the table with 40 points, one point ahead of Asante Kotoko who were held to a goalless drawn game at home to Vision FC.

Vision FC have 31 points and in ninth position as they battle to stay up for another season.

Dreams FC beat Aduana FC 1-0 at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa to take their points tally to 30 as they sit in 11th position.

Aduana FC are fifth with 38 points, two points ahead of Karela United who drew goalless away to Bechem United.

United, have 30 points and are 13th on the table, with Heart of Lions also on 30 points after their 1-0 loss away to Basake Holy Stars.

Holy Stars, have 32 points and are placed eighth on the ladder, one point ahead of Nations FC who beat bottom side Eleven Wonders 2-0 on Friday at Agona Swedru.

Berekum Chelsea played out a 1-1 drawn game at home to Young Apostles at the Golden City Park, Berekum.

Chelsea sit just above the relegation zone with 28 points, with Apostles in the relegation zone with 27 points.
