Asante Kotoko gets three-man new board

New helm at the Porcupines

Custodians of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, the Manhyia Palace had appointed a new three-man board of directors for the club.

The new board is headed by James Osei Brown, CEO of Joshob Construction, with Kwesi Osei Ofori, CEO of Rocksure as vice chairman and Kofi Amoa-Abban, founder and CEO of the Rigworld Group as a member.

The new three-man board, assume immediate responsibility at the Porcupines for the reminder of the 2025/26 Ghana football season.

Asante Kotoko are fourth on the league table with 38 points, seven points behind leaders Medeama SC ahead of the Matchday 24 fixtures this weekend.

The Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), will however remain in charge until the end of the season.

At a meeting on Friday to announce the new changes at the club, the new board chairman, Mr Osei Brown, assured that, they are determined to rise Asante Kotoko to new heights together with the IMC to reach maximum standards This season.
