Volleyball: Ghana in Cote d'ivoire to participate in African Nations Championship

Ghana's national volleyball team (male and female), will aim to qualify to the African championship later this month.

The road to continental glory begins on July 13 as Team Ghana seeks to make history.

The journey continues as the 2026 African Nations Cup Volleyball Zone 3 qualifiers take center stage in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The best volleyball nations in the West African Zone will battle for qualification, national pride, and the opportunity to compete on Africa’s biggest volleyball stage.

Team Ghana is represented at the event which ends on July 19 in Abidjan.

Also participating alongside the hosts are Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Niger and Liberia.

The Ghana Volleyball Federation has sent best wishes to the team ahead of the tournament.

In a statement, it said: “ We wish you the very best of success as you prepare to represent the nation with passion, determination, and excellence.”

It added: “Let’s rally behind our teams as they chase continental qualification.”
