interim coach Prince Owusu has endured a difficult start in charge of the Porcupines as he tries to get the team back to winning ways.
Coach Owusu have been in charge for four matches since being asked to take over from Abdul Karim Zito who stepped down after a run of poor results.
In the four matches, Asante Kotoko have lost two, drawn one and won one game, as they pursue the Ghana Premier League (GPL) title.
In his first game in charge, Coach Owusu lost 1-0 at home in Kumasi to Accra Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko bounced back from this setback to win
2–0 away to Young Apostles at Wenchi.
And, that's all Coach Owusu can boost of in terms of wins with his last two games not producing the results as required.
Asante Kotoko drew goalless at home to Vision FC before losing 1-0 to Karela United last Sunday.
Coach Owusu has picked just four points from a possible 12, and this is not a good return as they seek to win the diadem at the end of the campaign.
The Porcupines trail leaders Medeama SC by seven points with nine matches to end the season.
Coach Owusu and his charges will hope for better fortune going forward.
Asante Kotoko will host Kpando Heart of Lions in their next league game at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi where Coach Owusu will look for some breather to calm some nerves in their camp.
