Accra Hearts of Oak will play Port City FC in the final of the Accra city invitational football tournament they are hosting on Sunday.
This four-team pre-season tourney, is being played at the Hearts Africa Academy Complex, Pobiman where the Phobians train.
The tournament started on Friday with Port City FC beating Vision FC 1-0 in the first game to advance to the final on Sunday.
In the second game of the day, Hearts of Oak beat Swedru All Blacks 4-3 on penalties after their encounter ended 2-2 after 90 minutes.
The grand finale will come off on Sunday at 3:00 PM local time in the Ghanaian capital after the third place playoff between Vision FC and All Blacks.
All four clubs are using this pre-season tourney as a final dress rehearsal for the start of the new football season in Ghana.
Hearts of Oak will look to win the tournament against newly promoted Port City FC will will participate in the Ghanaian top-flight for the first time.
The Phobians will look for a confidence booster ahead of the Democracy Cup game against their arch rivals Asante Kotoko in Kumasi next week Friday.
The new football season starts on the weekend of September 4-6 with Hearts of Oak hosting Berekum Chelsea in Accra with Port City FC welcoming FC AshantiGold to Kukurantumi.
