Coach of Ghana Premier League (GPL)  leaders Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko said his side will react to their dip in form as they aim to win this season's championship.

The Mauve and Yellow, are winless in their last four GPL matches, and now top the table by a point after 24 matches.

Medeama SC have 46 points, a point ahead of reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars going into this weekend's round of matches.

In their last four matches played in the campaign, Medeama SC have lost 2-1 to Nations FC in an away played at Abrankese, Kumasi.

They then drew 1-1 at home to Aduana FC at Tarkwa before drawing goalless to FC Samartex and Swedru All Blacks in away encounters, the last of which was last Sunday.

However, Coach Tanko has played down this dip in form, insisting that they are on course in their title ambitions.

"There are no pushovers in the Ghanaian game, and we expect teams to come at us in the matches we play," the former Ghana international told Medeama SC media.

"However, we will rise to the challenge and continue with our aim of winning the title at the end of the campaign," he added.

Coach Tanko and his his charges, will next take on Hohoe United in a home game at the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa on Sunday.

Medeama SC will look for their first win in five league games when they welcome Hohoe United to the mining township this weekend.

A win will maintain their status on top of the table to keep their quest of winning a second Ghanaian top-flight title on going.
