Bechem United will be away to Nations FC on Friday in an Independence Day bash as the Ghana Premier League (GPL) continues with the Matchday 25 fixtures this weekend.

Ghana, celebrates 69 years as a sovereign nation on Friday, after gaining independence from British colonial rule in 1957.

Nations FC will host this fixture at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese-Kumasi knowing a win will take them eighth on the table from their current 10th position.

They have 31 points from the 24 matches they have played going into this weekend's round of matches.

Nations FC can finish the weekend in eighth position if they they Bechem United and other results favours them.

Bechem United are three points above the relegation zone with 30 points and, they will not like to drop points in this encounter.

They can jump to the eighth position with a win and if other results this weekend favours them.

At home, Nations FC will look to take advantage of the conditions to and go for the three points at stake.
