Ghana sets up Colombia clash in last 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Ghana will play Colombia in the last 32 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup after finishing third in Group L.

The Black Stars lost 2-1 to Croatia in their last group game on Saturday, but, had already qualified to the knockout stages prior to this game.

Earlier, Ghana beat Panama 1-0 in their opening group game before drawing goalless with England to finish with four points.

They will face Colombia in Kansas on Saturday morning Ghana time with the game set to kick off at 1:30am.

The winner of this tie, will play either Switzerland or Algeria in the round of 16.

In other round of 32 matches, South Africa will face co-hosts Canada with Brazil playing Japan.

Germany will play Paraguay; the Netherlands will face Morocco; Ivory Coast plays Norway with France playing Sweden.

Mexico will play Ecuador; England faces DR Congo; Belgium plays Senegal with the United States facing Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Spain will play Austria; Portugal faces Croatia; Australia plays Egypt whilst defending champions Argentina faces Cape Verde.
