Ghana will open their 2026 FIFA World Cup account on Wednesday with a Group L game against Panama. The Black Stars will face Panama at the Toronto Stadium, Canada with the set to kick off at 11:00pm GMT. Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz will hope to get the team going as they enter this tie favourites to win. With England and Croatia also in the group, the Black Stars will be eager to start on a winning note before they face the two nations. Ghana have been preparing in Rhode Island, USA for this encounter, and flew to Toronto on Monday in high hopes of getting the result on Wednesday. England and Croatia are the seeded teams to advance to the knockout stages from this group, and both will have an eye on the Ghana game. They face off in the other Group L game at the Dallas Stadium, Arlington at 8:00pm GMT before Ghana plays Panama. This is Ghana's fifth appearance at the Mundial after, they are hoping to better the quarterfinal berth they reached in 2010 in South Africa. After this game with Panama, the Black Stars will play England in Boston on June 23 before facing Croatia on June 27 in their last group game in Philadelphia.
