Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has been named in the English Premier League (EPL) Fans Team of the season after his sterling performance over the period.
Semenyo, helped Manchester City finish second in the EPL in the just ended campaign as they missed out on the title to rivals Arsenal.
Throughout the season, the Ghana international put up some amazing displays to earn the vote of the fans.
Semenyo, started the season with Bournemouth before earning a big money move to Man City in the January transfer window.
At Man City, he helped the Citizens win two trophies; the League Cup and the FA Cup trophy.
In the FA Cup final, Semenyo scored the winner in a 1-0 win as City beat Arsenal to the trophy.
Last season, he scored 17 goals to finish third in the EPL scorers chart, behind Igor Thiago of Brentford who scored 22 and club-mate Erling Haaland who was the top scorer with 27 goals.
Semenyo, will now turn his attention to national team matters as he has been named in Ghana's squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz will expect Semenyo to transfer his club form to the Black Stars as they battle England, Panama and Croatia in Group L at the Mundial.
