Ghana drawn in Group C of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup as four countries represent Africa

Ghana have been drawn in Group C of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup coming up in Poland later this year as four African nations represent the continent.

The Black Princesses will compete against Korea Republic, Ecuador, and France in a tough group.

The draw for the tournament took place in Poland on Friday, May 15, setting the stage for an exhilarating group-stage contest.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

Benin, are in Group A together with hosts Poland, Argentina and Mexico.

Tanzania will play in Group B together with Brazil, Canada and England.

Ghana will be participating in the tournament for the eighth consecutive time as they prepare to face two European sides, one being France, and an Asian opponent in Korea Republic, while Ecuador represents South America.

Ghana's participation will focus on achieving a historic milestone by progressing beyond the group stage.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is set to kick off in Poland from September 5 -27, 2026.
