Access Bank Division One League (DOL) side New Edubiase United is being put up for sale by the club owners.
In a social media post late on Wednesday, chieftains at the club confirmed this news without giving any reasons or explanations.
The DOL side, competes in Zone Two in the second tier of Ghana football and, are one of the most formidable teams.
They competed fiercely in the league last season as they sought qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight.
That ticket, was secured by FC AshantiGold 04 who will compete in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) next season.
New Edubiase United, are former campaigners in the GPL, and in 2012, they won the FA Cup trophy for their only major silverware in Ghana football.
