The Brazilian Football Confederation has released the routine for the national team as they seek to win a sixth Mundial later this year. Brazil, are five times winners of the FIFA Men's World Cup having first win it in 1958 and also in 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. The road to the 2026 tournament to be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, is heating up. Brazil will play a couple of friendly matches in preparations for the tournament in June and July. The Selecao have some important fixtures before 2026 World Cup kicks off. The five-times world champions will play France on March 26 before facing Croatia five days later. Coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to name the squad for these friendlies on March 16. This will be a massive opportunity for players to press their case for inclusion in the final squad for 2026 World Cup. It will also be an opportunity for Coach Anceloti to finalize his tactics ahead of the Mundial. Brazil are expected to play two more friendlies against Panama and Egypt  in late May and early June, as final preparations before the tournament begins. Brazil's final squad for the tournament is expected to be annouced on May 12. The Selecao have been drawn in a group that includes Morocco, Haiti and Scotland. They will open their quest for a sixth Mundial on June 14 against Morocco before playing Haiti and Scotland on June 20 and June 25 respectively.
