Boxing: Michael Tagoe targets national Super Featherweight title

Ghanaian pugilist Michael Tagoe (13-7-1-5), believes he is ripe for the national super featherweight crown.

He told Omashi TV  that his time to become a title holder is due, and that he is all ready for it.

He said, fights against experienced and  tough boxers like  Michael Abban, Charles Tetteh, Daniel Gorsh and Benjamin Lamptey, has helped shaped him and, he feels he has come of age to challenge for the ultimate this year.

"I gave all these local champions the opportunity when others feared to fight.

I know this is my year to win the title and I am fully prepared and ready to take on any opponent," he expressed.

Tagoe, trains at the Seconds Out Gym in Accra under coaches Darko Rickets and Joseph Martey, whom he said, have given him much knowledge and technical exposure.

Tagoe announced and introduced his new management team led by Eugene Lamptey whom he believes will push him to the top.
