Record champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Asante Kotoko are targeting six points in their next two games in this season's championship as they continue with their bid to win a record extending 25th title.
The Porcupines will play their next two games at home to Aduana FC and Karela United with both games scheduled to be played at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko have began the campaign on a promising note, picking up five points from their opening three matches.
They trial joint leaders Accra Hearts of Oak and FC Samartex 1996 by two points going into this weekend's round of matches.
Asante Kotoko will host Aduana FC on Sunday in what promises to be a fiercely contested affair as the two sides battle for the three points.
The visitors will not be easy pushovers for Asante Kotoko though as Aduana FC run away with a point on their last visit to the Garden City in the league.
Kotoko will look for their second win of the campaign in this fixture after beating Heart of Lions in their opening home game of the season.
They will be the odds-on-favourites to carry home the points to set them up for their second mission next week.
That will also be another home game in the league when they welcome Karela United to Kumasi.
This Matchday Five is scheduled to be played next week Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium where Kotoko won this fixture last season.
They will hope for a second win in this encounter in successive seasons to aid in their quest to wrestle the GPL title for a record extending 25th time at the end of the campaign.
