Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Asante Kotoko will play their penultimate game of their pre-season tour of Accra on Tuesday.
The Porcupines will face fellow GPL campaigners Heart of Lions as they continue with their preparations for next season.
Tuesday's game will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon with kick-off time set for 10:00am in the Ghanaian capital.
Asante Kotoko are aiming to have a better campaign next season after finishing the last campaign eighth in the GPL, their worse in the history of the competition.
Former South Africa international Eric Tinkler has assumed control as helmsman of the club, and, he has been taking care of their pre-season rituals.
The Garden City club have taken their pre-season preparations from Kumasi to the capital as they look to get in perfect shape for the start of the new campaign.
After Tuesday's game, Asante Kotoko will play another friendly on Saturday before they head back to Kumasi to put finishing touches to their pre-season preparations.
There in Kumasi, Asante Kotoko will play their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup on August 28 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
That one-off game is being organized by the Parliament of Ghana in support of democracy in the country.
Asante Kotoko will open their campaign in the 2026/27 GPL campaign with an away fixture against newly promoted Debibi United when the new campaign starts on the weekend of September 4-6, 2026.
