Former England international Micah Richards has heeped praise on Antoine Semenyo describing the Ghanaian forward as a top-notch player.
Semenyo, has been in fine form for English Premier League (EPL) side, Manchester City since joining from fellow top-flight side AFC Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
This season in the EPL, the Ghana international has scored 14 goals in 27 matches, as City look to defend the title they won last season.
"He's just got that true quality! We always say players need time to adapt at new clubs, but he brings the pace, the power, and football IQ to do what Pep wants," Richards told Sky Sports.
“That's the most important thing. When you're up front with Haaland, then with Marmoush, but also he's having to drop in defensively to positions which are probably new to him.”
"The way he's adapted is absolutely fantastic. But also delivering as well. There's so many stars in the Man City team - Foden, Reijnders. But to have the impact with so many of them in the team it shows how good he is.
Long may it continue. The question mark was whether he could do it at this level and he definitely can," Richards added.
Ghana Coach Otto Addo will hope Semenyo continues with his fine form his he looks up to the FIFA World Cup in May and June.
Semenyo could be a key figure for the Black Stars as they lineup to play England, Panama and Croatia in a tough group at the Mundial coming up in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
