Asante Kotoko made 12 new signings in the just ended transfer window ahead of the start of the 2026-27 Ghana football season.
The Porcupines list of 12 signings, includes six Ghanaians and six foreigners as they put together a squad good enough to challenge on all fronts domestically in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) and the FA Cup competition.
The new signings includes two goalkeepers, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards.
Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim rejoins Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal as a free agent with an option to extend for another year.
Moroccan goalkeeper Abdel Wadie Mourad has also signed a three-year deal with Asante Kotoko ahead of the season ahead.
Striker Emmanuel Mamah a free agent, has signed a three-year deal having previously played for FC Samartex 1996.
Ivorian center back Koffi Marius Ange Bini, is also on the books of the Porcupines as is striker Isaac Opoku Agyemang who both join as free agents.
Midfielder Abdoul Kader Tarnagda of Burkina Faso and Cameroonian
Solomon Nsoh Assah a defensive midfielder, have also been signed.
Defender Umar Ali joins the club from Partizani of Albania with fellow defender
Emmanuel Sanja signings a three-year deal from fellow top-flight side Vision FC.
Aristote Tamuzi from DR Congo is on the list as is their former captain Richard Boadu who has signed as a free agent.
Eric Gbetta, an Ivorian, has also signed to play for Asante Kotoko from next season.
Asante Kotoko will play their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.
They open their account in the GPL with an away game against newly promoted Debibi United when the season starts on the weekend of September 4-6.
