Ghana Division One League (DOL) side Real Tamale United (RTU) have announced the appointment of Alhaji Ibrahima Aminu as the club's new Chief Executive Officer ahead of the new season.
Alhaji Ibrahima Aminu brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience, having led and restructured major organisations across Ghana and other African countries, with a track record of strengthening governance, driving financial health, and delivering institutional transformation.
He also brings more than 10 years of football administration experience in Ghana and beyond, giving him a deep understanding of the game at both the boardroom and grassroots level.
His career also includes working as an international consultant for leading global institutions, including the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), GIZ, and DFID/FCDO, advising governments and organisations on policy, investment, and institutional reform across the continent.
As RTU begins a new chapter of institutional growth and ambition, the club welcomes Alhaji Ibrahima Aminu's expertise and vision to the club, and will look forward to the leadership he will bring both on and off the pitch for success.
RTU will compete in the DOL Zone One League as they aim to qualify to the Ghana Premier League next season.
