Newly promoted Ghana Premier League (GPL) club Port City FC have appointed Christopher Enne as new head coach of the club.
His appointment comes as they prepare for their debut campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight next season.
The Access Bank Division One League (DOL) Zone Three champions, announced the appointment on their media channels.
The release said: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Christopher Enne as the new head coach of our club."
It added: "Coach Enne brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record, having managed top clubs both in Ghana and abroad.
His coaching journey includes spells with Samartex 1996 FC and Berekum Chelsea in Ghana, as well as successful stints in Thailand with Korat Mazda, Kamphaeng Phet, and Rayong FC.
He has also coached Moneni Pirates in the Eswatini Premier League and gained valuable experience in South Africa.
This marks Coach Enne’s third coaching spell in Ghana, and we are confident that his experience, leadership, and winning mentality will be instrumental as we embark on an exciting new chapter."
Coach Christopher Enne is expected to quickly swing into action ahead of the new Ghana football season.
He is expected to take his new charges through pre-season to prepare them for what promises to be a very demanding campaign.
Port City FC, will compete on two fronts next season, in the GPL and in the FA Cup competition.
On their debut campaign, a retention of their status in the GPL at the end of the season, will be a top priority.
They will also hope to go as far as possible in the knockout competition with an aim of winning it.
These are the tasks set for Coach Enne by chieftains at the club upon his appointment.
