President of Medeama Sporting Club (SC) Moses Armah said his dream is to win the CAF Champions League for the people of Tarkwa.
Medeama SC, won the Ghana Premier League (GPL) title last season, and, will compete in the CAF Champions League in the campaign campaign.
And, club president Mr Armah, wants to leave a legacy at the Tarkwa-based side by becoming the third Ghanaian side to win the continental title.
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, have won the CAF Champions League in the past.
"My dream is to win the CAF Champions League for the people of Tarkwa Nsuem municipality and Ghana at large," Mr Armah told Tarkwa-based radio station Medeama FM on Monday.
In an attempt to achieve that dream, Mr Armah has sanctioned the purchase of some high profile talents into the Medeama SC squad for the campaign next season.
They have brought in some significant signings to strengthen the side that won their second GPL title last season.
Mr Armah and other chieftains at the club will hope they leave up to their high profile status as they integrate into the squad in their pre-season preparations.
The preliminary round of matches in the CAF Champions League will be played next month, from where Medeama SC will look to progress to the group stage of the competition, allowing them to challenge for the trophy.
Mr Armah will hope his dream becomes a reality as soon as possible, and, he will be pleased if it happens next season.
