Ghana international Ibrahim Osman makes English Premier League debut for Brighton as they beat Aston Villa 4-0 on Sunday

Ghana international Ibrahim Osman made his English Premier League debut on Sunday over two years since signing for the club, Brighton and Hove Albion.

Ibrahim Osman, finally made his Premier League debut for Brighton, 25 months after joining the club in July 2024.

The winger has already featured in the Conference League and impressed during pre-season, earning the trust of manager Fabian Hürzeler.

He played a part as Brighton thumped Aston Villa 4-0 in their opening game of the season at home at the American Express Stadium.

Osman, was introduced to the game in the 77th minute when Brighton were already 4-0 up and cruising to a comfortable victory.

Brighton will be hoping Osman can make his mark in the Premier League this season as they seek to finish in the top four and qualify for the European Champions League.

For Osman, it represents a good chapter in his development as he seek to establish himself in European football.

The Ghana international will look to build on this positive start to the season and keep his place in the national team scheme of things.

Ghana have important 2027 AFCON qualifiers coming up in September and October, and Osman will be a key figure in the selection of he remains fit.
