Former Okwawu United centre-back Collins Ntiful has emerged as a transfer target for two Ghana Premier League (GPL) clubs ahead of the new season.
Both Karela United and Bibiani Gold Stars SC are on the heels of the player following the expiration of his contract with Division One League (DOL) side Okwawu United.
The defender is now a free agent after spending the last three seasons with the Soccer Mountaineers.
Collins Ntiful began his football journey with Kumasi-based Division Two side Sampdoria Football Club before moving to Jachie United.
He later featured for Phar Rangers FC and Susubiribi FC, before joining Okwawu United, where his performances have attracted interest from top-flight clubs.
Karela United are currently leading the race to secure the defender's signature, with negotiations at an advanced stage.
However, Bibiani Gold Stars have entered the picture and are keen to hijack the deal as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana football season.
