Six matches coming up in the GPL on Sunday as Medeama SC visits Debibi United

There are some mouthwatering games coming up in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Sunday as the season continues with Matchday Five fixtures.

Six matches will be played across the country with as the campaign heats up.

After beating Asante Kotoko for the first time in Kumasi last Sunday, Aduana FC will return to familiar territory in Dormaa-Ahenkro to host Swedru All Blacks.

This game will be played at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park where Aduana FC will look to build on the Kotoko win as they aim for a third successive win of the campaign.

All Blacks though, will have something to say about this as they target a first away win of the campaign.

Reigning champions Medeama SC will trek to the Presby Park, Debibi to play local side Debibi United as they look to maintain their unbeaten start to the defence of the title they won last season.

Debibi United are unbeaten at home, winning one and drawing the other of the two matches they have played in their debut campaign.

They will fancy their chances of causing an upset in front of their home fans against the defending GPL champions.

Port City FC will welcome Bechem United to the Nana Darko II Park, Kukurantumi as they play their third home game of the campaign.

The GPL debutants, saw their unbeaten record ended last Wednesday at Tarkwa by Medeama SC and, on home soil, they will look to make amends.

However, Bechem United are on a good run, as they are unbeaten in their last three matches and, they will look to make things difficult for the home side.

FC AshantiGold 04 will be away to Heart of Lions at the Kpando Sports Stadium as they target their first away win of the season.

Lion, won for the first time in this campaign at Wenchi against Young Apostles, and, they will look to build on this in front of their home fans.

Basake Holy Stars will fancy their chances of collecting the three points as they welcome Berekum Chelsea to the AAK II Sports Arena, Azulewanu.

Chelsea, have been very poor travelers in the last few seasons and, they will have to bring their A-game to this game if they hope to take anything from this fixture.

FC Samartex 1996 will be strong favourites to win the three points as they welcome Young Apostles to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi.

The Timber Giants are on a rich vein of form at the moment as they are one of two clubs unbeaten in the campaign, and, they can top the standings with a win this weekend.
