The Porcupines gaffer, seems to be on a mission

Asante Kotoko interim coach Prince Yaw Owusu said his charges will make their fans happy after Sunday's league game against Vision FC.

The Porcupines will host this Ghana Premier League (GPL), Matchday 24 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

And ahead of the game, Coach Owusu is sounding positive as they seek their 11th win of this campaign.

"I can assure you that we are ready for Vision FC on Sunday, and I trust the boys to deliver on the day," Coach Owusu told Asante Kotoko media heading into Sunday's encounter.

"I promise you that victory will be ours after the 90 minutes," he said.

The Porcupines, bounced back from the super clash defeat at home to rivals Accra Hearts of Oak a couple of weeks ago, with a resounding 2-0 away win over Young Apostles at Wenchi last weekend.

Coach Owusu said his charges will build on this for the reminder of the campaign starting with the visit of Vision FC to the Garden City.

Asante Kotoko are fourth on the table with 38 points, seven points behind leaders Medeama SC going into this weekend's round of matches.

A win on Sunday can lift them to third on the log if Hearts of Oak lose their away game at Bibiani to reigning champions Gold Stars.

This is what the Kotoko faithful will be hoping for as they look to keep pressure on those above them on the GPL table.
