Record champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Asante Kotoko remains the only undefeated side in the competition after the latest round of matches.
The match-week nine games were played over the weekend with the Porcupines maintaining their unbeaten start to the campaign with a win in Accra.
They defeated Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to end Hearts’ own undefeated record.
Kotoko, are seventh on the table with 14 points, five points behind leaders Aduana FC from the six matches they have played.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito’s side, have three games in hand, and play the first of those on Wednesday at Tema against Vision FC.
Aduana FC drew goalless at home with Medeama SC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkroh on Friday.
They lead second placed Medeama SC by a point going into the next round of matches at the weekend.
In third position on the table with 16 points, are Heart of Lions who beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at their Kpando Stadium.
Chelsea, have eight points from the nine matches they have played and are placed 14th on the table.
With their defeat at home to Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak are fourth on the ladder level on 16 points with FC Samartex who beat Swedru All Blacks 1-0 at home.
Also on 16 points are reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars who lost 2-0 away to Basake Holy Stars.
Holy Stars remain in the bottom three with five points, two points behind Swedru All Blacks who are 16th on the table.
Young Apostles beat Bechem United 3-2 at home in Wenchi to take their points tally to 14 as they sit in eighth position leaving Bechem United in the relegation zone.
Karela United drew 1-1 with Dreams FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale to sit ninth position with 13 points.
Dreams FC are 13th with eight points; Vision FC, Hohoe United, Nations FC, and Eleven Wonders, are in 10th, 11th, 12th and 18th positions respectively.
