Each of the participating clubs in the 2026 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top 4 tournament will receive an appearance fee as the tournament starts on Wednesday.
FC Samartex 1996, Medeama SC, Bibiani Gold Stars and Dreams FC will each receive GH¢25,000 in appearance fees for this pre-season tournament which will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon, Accra.
Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions Medeama SC will play Bibiani Gold Stars in the opening game of the four-club tournament on Wednesday starting at 3:00 PM in the Ghanaian capital.
The second game of the day will be between FC Samartex 1996 and Dreams FC with that encounter scheduled to kick-off at 6:00 PM local time.
This pre-season tourney is being organized by GHALCA for the four participating clubs ahead of start of the new season.
The competition is an-all-play-all affair with further matches to be played on Friday and Sunday at the same venue.
It has been projected to end on Sunday with the side amassing the most points after three matches each, winning the competition.
The GHALCA Top 4 tournament will usher in the 2026/27 football season which is expected to kick-off on the weekend of September 4-6.
