Promoted Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Debibi United will play their Matchday Three fixture against Young Apostles at their home ground, Debibi Presby Park on Sunday.
This follows the approval of the venue to host Ghanaian top-flight games by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The GPL debutants, played their opening day home fixture against Asante Kotoko at Golden City Park, Berekum in a game that ended 2-2.
They now return to their favoured home venue for their next league game at home to Young Apostles this weekend as the GPL continues.
With two matches played in the competition, Debibi United have a point to show on board after losing away to Swedru All Blacks last Sunday.
As they return to play in front of their home fans for the first time in the history of Ghana football on Sunday, they will hope to make the most of this opportunity.
Staying up in the GPL in their debut campaign, would require maximizing as many points as possible at home, and, they will play for this game on Sunday.
There are strong challenges to come this season with the competition set to be very demanding.
It is expected that their fans in and around Debibi will show up in their numbers on Sunday to cheer the team on as they battle for the three points.
Debibi United will need their home fans to carry them across the line in their home games this season if they are to stay up for another campaign.
