Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said his side has the quality to win this season’s Ghana Premier League (GPL), title, and that they will go for it.
The Porcupines, moved top of the stairs in the ongoing campaign after beating Karela United 1-0 in Kumasi on Sunday.
And, Coach Ogum said his side will build on this performance as they top the table with 34 points after 18 matches, leading by a point from Bibiani Gold Stars and Heart of Lions.
“We have quality to win the league, and a good blend and balance, stability and consistent results will take us there”, Coach Ogum said after the win.
He added: “Talent wins games, but, teamwork wins championships and, this is what Asante Kotoko is working on”.
The players he said, knows this as they try to improve with each game that comes by.
Asante Kotoko will next play Nsoatreman FC in an away encounter to be played at the Nana Kronamansah Park, Nsoatre at the weekend.

During the first round of this campaign, Asante Kotoko beat Nsoatreman FC 1-0 at Obuasi and, they will look to make it a double over the MTN FA Cup champions this season.
