Three File Nominations To Contest For Ghana Boxing Authority President

Three persons have filed nominations to contest the presidency of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), later this month.

The GBA, goes to an Elective Congress on July 12 with the ceremony set to be held at the Mudor Conference Hall inside the Trust Sports Emporium at Bukom in Accra.

The filing for nominations closed on June 2, 2025 with the three personalities filing to contest for the President’s position.

Those set to contest for the presidency are incumbent president Abraham Kotei Neequaye, Rabbon Kwashie Doddoo and Ivan Bruce Cudjoe.

Other positions to be contested for are, First Vice President, Second Vice President,Treasurer as well as Executive Member positions.

A release issued by the GBA, named the contestants are as:

President:

Abraham Kotei Neequaye, Rabbon Kwashie Doddoo and Ivan Bruce Cudjoe.

First Vice President:

Michael Leviticus Attoh Tetteh (unopposed)

Second Vice President:

Shadrach Acquaye and

Ellis Afotey Quaye

Treaaurer:

Nathaniel Obeng Awuku (unopposed)

Executive Member Positions:

Alhaji Tofiki Muritala, John Owiredu Manfo, Gideon Hansen Appiah, Derek Ansai Ankrah, Bernard Tetteh Nartey, Johnny Otutey Gordon and Gideon Happy Kwamla Oyiadzo.

It assured that the elections will be transparent, free, and fair.
