The race to join the Ghanaian top-flight next season from Zone One in the Access Bank Division One League (DOL), will be known on Friday.
Real Tamale United (RTU), will face Techiman Eleven Wonders for a place in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon.
RTU, won the Zone One A league, with Eleven Wonders picking the ticket to contest this playoff game in Zone One B.
Today’s game in the Ghanaian capital, will determine the final team to qualify for the GPL next season after the Zone Two and Three winners were known last weekend.
Swedru All Blacks and Hohoe United, gained qualification to the GPL after topping Zone Two and Three respectively.
RTU, suffered demotion from the GPL last season, and they will be eager to make a quick return to the top-flight by winning this game.
On the part of Eleven Wonders, they were relegated from the GPL two seasons ago, and they will look to make amends in this afternoon’s game.
This, therefore sets the stage for an uncompromising encounter this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium with the stakes very high for both sides.
Fans of the two sides will surely be there in their numbers to cheer their team on, and, it will be interesting to see how the players rise to this huge expectation.
