In a heartwarming act of generosity and solidarity, the Million Balls Africa Project, a brilliant initiative of ORPED Ghana, made a surprise donation of two quality footballs to Nongowa Football Club Academy (NFCA), a gesture that deeply touched players and the coaching staff.
The donation was made shortly after Charles Cobbina, (Kempes), the Founder and Chief Campaign Officer of the Million Balls Africa Project, witnessed an NFCA training session.
Clearly moved by the discipline, energy, and commitment of the young players, Mr. Cobbina acted instantly, fulfilling the vision of his campaign: empowering grassroots football through access to essential equipment.
This spontaneous act reflects the core mission of the Million Balls Africa Project — to reach young talents across the continent, one ball at a time.
It is not just about footballs; it’s about hope, opportunity, and belief in the future of African youth.
The entire NFCA family expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Cobbina and the entire ORPED Ghana team.
“Your gesture will not be forgotten. These balls are now a symbol of belief — that someone saw our effort and decided to invest in our dream”.
We say thank you for choosing to be part of our journey. The game continues — stronger and inspired.
